HUMIDITY INDICATOR
A humidity indicator relying on a change of colour of cobalt chloride has a film covering the cobalt chloride plate containing small holes separated from the plate by an air layer thus maintaining contact between the atmosphere and the surface of the plate. As a result, a worker directly handling the indicator is protected from absorption of cobalt by the body.

SCRUBBING SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR COAL FIRED COMBUSTION UNITS
Sulfur oxide emissions are removed from flue gas of coal fired combustion units using a wet scrubber. A wide variety of other contaminants such as nitrogen oxides, carbon monoxide, arsenic, beryllium, cadmium, hydrochloric acid, chromium, cobalt, hafnium, lead, manganese, mercury, nickel, selenium, benso(a)pyrene can be removed.
