WO 2006/081592 A2 (08/03/2006) Dyson, Roderick Mark Devonport, Clive Richard
Dyson R.M, Devonport C.R.
MARKING METHOD AND FORMULATION
A bank note marking agent consists of a water soluble dye, which can be rendered water insoluble when brought into contact with water or an organic solvent. Alternatively or in addition, the bank note marking agent may be a substance, such as cobalt nitrate, that is adapted to produce a colour when exposed to an oxidizing agent, such as a bleaching agent.

Yamada M., Maeda S., Hosaka K., Suzuki M.
RESIST COMPOSITION CONTAINING COBALT DYE AND COLOR FILTER USING SAME
A colour resist composition with high resolution which leaves no development residue includes a cobalt-containing complex salt dye. Also disclosed is a resist composition wherein a compound having a complex salt-forming ability in a complex salt dye has a dihydroxyazo structure represented by the following formula (1): HO-X-N=N-X-OH
WO/2006/042802 A1 (04/27/2006) Ciba Specialty Chemicals Holding Inc., Schmiedl, Jürgen, Schoehn, Damien
Schmiedl J. Schoehn D.
REACTIVE DYES, THEIR PREPARATION AND THEIR USE
Reactive dyes suitable for dyeing synthetic polyamide fibre materials and yield dyeings or prints having good wet- fastness properties contain azonaphthol derivatives of chromium, cobalt or iron, carrying fibre-reactive substituents.
WO 2006/030896 A1 (03/23/2006) Mitsui Mining & Smelting Co., Ltd.
Hoshino T. Katsuyama K. Fujiyasu S. Nakashima T.
GRANULAR BLACK PIGMENT CONTAINING COBALT
A granular black pigment having a high electrical resistance, contains cobalt present as an oxide where, the divalent cobalt accounts for 40-70% of the total cobalt content. Preferably that the total cobalt content in a whole particle is 60-80wt%, the divalent cobalt content is 20-50wt% and the primary particle diameter is 0.02-0.6 ?m.

INORGANIC PIGMENTS
"Cobalt and aluminum containing, inorganic pigments of spinel crystalline structure exhibiting improved colour and/or weatherability in paint and polymer applications, are produced by adding small quantities of a phosphate compound such as aluminum phosphate and, optionally, chromium (III) oxide, to a raw batch containing cobalt and aluminum precursors, and calcining."
